If you're only used to large watch sizes, it may take a few days to get used to a smaller watch, but 36mm (40mm for sport watches) is really the classic Rolex size. I got rid of my larger ones, and here's 36mm on my 7" wrist. I've been thinking of buying a larger OP, initially opting for the OP39mm as the 39mm is at the top of the range of size that I think works for me. I then came across an excellent youtube video doing an in-depth comparison, saying that the 41mm is, in fact, almost identical in case size to the 39mm, and the only real difference is the dial area .
