Love natos and love this combo! The material is relatively thin, so it passes through the spring bars quite easily. Pliable enough to conform to the shape but not too soft either. I love the Daytona and wear it almost every day, and on the bracelet plenty. Explorer II Polar on NATO. Today, I am going with the desert tan. __________________. looking to get a sub to specfically wear with a nato strap. I have 6.25" inch wrists so typically wear 36-40mm watches at most, depending on lug size. I was wondering which model of recent subs would suit this set up the most? I like woven nylon straps, but not on a daytona...how about a nice alligator strap? _____

NATO and ZULU straps are functional for diving and were crated for that use. There are times when a bracelet will not fit over a big bulky dry suit and a long NATO is really your only option. I realize that many divers have abandoned the mechanical divewatch and have replaced it with a dive computer.

I don't have any leather straps yet but I'd like to get a nato for my Sub. I think for the most part Rolex look best on braclet, except for vintage on Nato straps. Just my opinion.
