The beeswax, honey, and labdanum attempt to tame this parfum, but it doesn't really work.Still and undeniably leather is a star in this fragrance. The main difference (on my skin) is: the 2018 version is much louder on civet - what I actually prefer. The old one from the 2014 has a prominent oud background and I can smell it clearly on my skin. Surprisingly - I like the NEW version more. I prefer the pure blend of leather and civet.

It features a full-bodied amber and a shimmering oud note.
Leather Oud is really good and the oud in this smells like smoky burning wood and the leather is more of a light supple saddle leather. Mixed together with the honey and civet gives you a smoky leathery dark sweet musky scent.
