Once again using the iconic Rolex Daytona as a canvas, this time they have collaborated with Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello to make a Daytona unlike any you’ve seen before. The second reinterpretation that followed was to turn his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116505 Everose into yet another open-worked masterpiece. Inspired by the automotive world, Artisans de Genève has made a series of extremely technical modifications to the automatic Rolex calibre 4130. With a staggering 322 starts under his belt, 11 of which resulted in victory, Rubens Barrichello is the most experienced Formula 1 driver of all time. Now the benign Brazilian has joined forces with Artisans de Genève to modify a Rolex Daytona in order to reflect his enduring motorsport career.. Former Ferrari Formula 1 driver and 11-time grand prix winner Rubens Barrichello has, in conjunction with bespoke watchmaker Artisans de Geneve, launched a new watch.
Last year they worked on the world’s first skeleton dial Rolex Daytona, and for this year, the Geneva-based master craftsmen have collaborated with Rubens Barrichello to customize his Rolex Daytona, by adding the mechanical style of racing cars to the watch.
