I bought a YSL La Nuit de L'homme from an online store and I got a 2013 batch. From what I've seen, stores can't sell fragrances with more than 3 years of shelf-life. Should I return it or are 2013 batches good and I should keep it?

I recently purchased a vintage bottle of YSL La Nuit De L'Homme online from an individual and I wanted to get second opinions on its authenticity. The batch code on the bottom of the bottle is 62K800, which shows a 2013-08 production date on checkfresh. The FIL number on the box is B159390/2. The earlier batch is sharper and lasts well (6 sprays = all day during work). The latter batch is far softer/more rounded and lasts marginally less. It doesn't have the atrocious longevity that some seem to suggest. Just got this beauty - 2013 YSL La Nuit de L'homme. Right after the first spray I smell lavandel with some cardamom, with some dry woody undertone which is the cedar I think! After 5 minutes I begin to detect vetiver. I don't know much about the newest batches, but I paid 100 euro's for this bottle.Following this track, I accepted to make a funny, similar work, with another acclaimed male scent: La Nuit de l'Homme EdT, by Yves Saint Laurent, performing tests, then checking "formulas" on the boxes and discussing the results.
