The Rolex Milgauss 6541 features the same iconic honeycomb dial as the 6543, but a slightly different rotatable bezel. It was still calibrated to 60 minutes, but the zeroes were omitted–so “1-2-3-4-5” appeared on the bezel instead of “10-20-30-40-50.”
This watch was for the USA market and therefore had the smooth bezel instead of the regular rotating 24 hour bezel. An additional 100-% original 6541 rotating bezel was purchased from the same dealer in Switzerland to allow you to wear the watch with either bezel.The star for me personally is definitely the tropical brown 6541 with smooth bezel with correct serial batch, movement numbers & caliber, still having a good bevel on the case. Only remark I could make is the scratches on the tropic as due to this, it’s more difficult to capture the beauty of the dial but i tried and here’s the result.
