These installations embody the luxury brand’s 2023 annual theme, Astonishment, transporting viewers into a realm where reality and the imagined intermingle.
The Astonishing Moment of Life. Inspired by the Surrealist movement and the desire to find magic and wonder in the familiar and everyday life, this project features shapes and emblematic Hermès accessories that interact to form two subtly choreographed installations.
The Illusionniste is a project design at ECAL for the object department of Hermès. Many thanks to Sabine Marcelis for her great advice during this project. Inspired by the art movement - De Stijl, Style H is a dual function mirror for the Hermes home department that is designed to fit in the home-use scenario.
