The 1310/Men's (with the seconds) is called the "Seamaster - Mariner " on Omega's vintage site, not the Mariner II (maybe that was a nickname at the time) and the one I called the Marniner III isn't even on their site. Above-discussed ref 396.0938 rectangular case fitted with the 2.5 mm thick cal. 1420 is the actual Mariner II (repeat Mariner Two) but is the victim of scant surviving records. The cal. 1420 appears as early as 1981. (His and hers) Thought I'd start making up by showing my latest love; a lovely Omega Mariner II in close to NOS condition. It even came in its original plexiglass box including manual and papers. A magnificent example of 70's design when it was at its best!
